From Galway take the Clifden road, the N59, and pass through the towns of Moycullen and Oughterard. Continue on another 10 miles from Oughterard and you will reach Maam Cross. Take a right in Maam Cross- and this will take you to the village of Maam, left hear and on to the village of Leenane. Go straight through the village of Leenane and continue out on the Clifden road and the K2 is three miles from the village of Leenane on the Clifden road, on the left-hand side as you keep the Killary Fjord on your right hand side.

DIRECTIONS FROM WESTPORT TO LEENANE

From Westport head out the Clifden Road, the N59. Follow the road straight passing through an area that has small villages signposted such as Knappagh, Liscarney, Carrowkennedy. You will pass O’ Malley’s garage, which will be on your right and further on a large pub on the right hand side as you come closer to Leenane. Keep following the signs for Leenane and Clifden. When you come to the new bridge in the village of Leenane you will cross over and continue straight, follow the signs for Clifden and keep the water on your right hand side as you travel away from the village, and three miles from the village on the left hand side you will see the K2.

DIRECTIONS FROM SHANNON AIRPORT TO GALWAY

From Shannon Airport to Galway City follow the signs for Galway. You are mainly on the N18 from Shannon to Oranmore and then from Oranmore into Galway it is the N6. From Galway City on wards you follow the N59 for Clifden and taking the Leenane road from Maamcross.
